Conceal and Carry
Analog keyboards marinated in lush ambiance, ethereal voices from some distant planet, a couple of nerds enthusiastic about spaced out jams.
Conceal and Carry’s core (and often lone gigging member) is Carrie Wade, classically trained on the piano, and adept in the black arts of noise. Keyboards stutter, swell, and undulate below a voice not unlike that of Portland’s Honey Owens. Mercenary partner in crime (and part time sock puppet) Zach Biri steps in with production trickery, or sometimes a bass and guitar, or spastic electronics, or a counterpoint vocal harmony and the haunted sounds of C&C flow down T3 lines parallel to interstate highway 70.
